FAQ

Ordering, delivery, and living with the NeckRelief.

What is your return policy?

Sale items are final sale. Anything bought at a discounted price — including our launch pricing and multi-pack offers — can't be returned for a change of mind.

Full-price items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, as long as they're unused and in the original packaging with everything they came with. Please message us with your order number before sending anything back. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and original shipping charges aren't refunded.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items are always covered, sale or not — send us your order number and a photo and we'll offer a replacement or refund.

Full details are in our refund policy.

What payment methods do you accept?

Every payment method available to you is shown at checkout. If you don't see the one you'd like to use, let us know — it's useful for us to hear.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Get in touch as soon as you can and we'll do our best. Once an order has been packed and handed to the carrier we usually can't change the address or the contents, so the sooner you message us the more we can do.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States only.

We'd like to open up more countries later. If you're outside the US and want the NeckRelief, tell us where you are — it genuinely helps us decide where to ship next.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders arrive within 7 to 15 business days. That's an estimate rather than a guarantee — carrier delays and busy periods can add time.

If your order is taking noticeably longer than that, message us and we'll chase it up for you.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order. Any applicable charges are shown before you complete your purchase, so there are no surprises after you pay.

Whichever options apply to your order are shown at checkout with their real cost, before you pay. Nothing is added after that point.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Every order ships with tracking. You'll get an email with your tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched — if it hasn't turned up, check your spam folder before you worry. You can look a number up any time on our track your order page.

Something arrived damaged or isn't right. What now?

Message us with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right. You won't need to argue with us about it.

Can it help with neck stiffness and pain?

That's what most people buy it for. Heat and massage are two of the oldest ways to help tense muscles relax, and the NeckRelief combines both with a gentle stretch through the neck. It's designed to help ease the everyday stiffness, tightness and soreness that build up from screen time, phone use, long drives, and sleeping awkwardly.

People most often use it for a stiff neck at the end of the day, an ache across the tops of the shoulders, the knot at the base of the skull, or the tightness that's still there when they wake up.

What it isn't: a medical device or a treatment. It can't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and it won't resolve an underlying problem. If your pain is severe, doesn't go away, follows an injury, or comes with numbness, tingling or weakness in your arms, please see a qualified healthcare professional instead of relying on this.

What are the three modes?

The NeckRelief does three separate things, and one button cycles between them. The indicator light changes colour so you always know which is running.

Vibration massage (blue light). A steady massage through the muscles at the back of the neck and across the tops of the shoulders — the spot you keep reaching for with your own thumb.

Air-inflated traction (green light). The cushion inflates to lift and gently stretch the neck, then releases. This is the one that feels like someone is easing your head back for you.

Warm compress (red light). Heat through the contour, into the muscles either side of your spine.

Do I use it lying down or sitting up?

Either — it's built for both, and neither is the 'correct' way.

Lie flat on your back and the NeckRelief works as a cervical support pillow, with the contour holding the natural curve of your neck. Prop yourself up against a headboard, a sofa back or a stack of cushions and it supports you exactly the same way.

All three modes work the same in either position, so use whichever one you'd be in anyway.

Can I sleep on it overnight?

No, and it isn't designed for that. The NeckRelief runs for up to fifteen minutes and then shuts itself off, and we wouldn't recommend leaving any heated device running unattended while you sleep.

Use it as a session — before bed is a popular time — then set it aside and sleep on your usual pillow.

How do I use it?

Rest your neck into the contour — lying flat or propped up — and let your shoulders drop. Press and hold the button to start, then press once to move between the three modes.

How long is a session?

Up to fifteen minutes. The NeckRelief powers itself off after fifteen minutes of continuous use, which helps prevent overuse and overheating. You don't have to watch the clock.

What does it actually feel like?

The massage mode is a steady vibration through the muscles at the back of the neck and the tops of the shoulders — firm enough to feel, not so strong that it's uncomfortable.

The traction mode is the one most people don't expect: the cushion inflates underneath you, lifting and lengthening the neck, then lets the air out again. It's a slow, gradual stretch rather than anything sudden.

The warm compress feels like a hot towel across the back of the neck, except it doesn't go cold.

What colors does it come in?

Light gray and dark gray. Both are the same product otherwise — pick whichever suits the room you'll leave it in.

Can I use it every day?

It's designed for everyday relaxation. Start with shorter sessions and see how it feels, then adjust to what's comfortable for you.

Is LUMEROA NeckRelief a medical device?

No. NeckRelief is a comfort and relaxation product. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.

What it does is simple: it warms, massages and gently stretches the muscles across your neck and shoulders so they can relax. That's it, and that's genuinely useful at the end of a long day — but we're not going to tell you it fixes your posture or treats an injury, because it doesn't.

If you have a neck or spine concern, are pregnant, or have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, please talk to a qualified healthcare professional before using it.
